Sulfa (1984-2015)
Yoda (1981- 2016)

We adopted the "Burros" in 1985. They are Wild Free roaming burros from Death Valley National Park in California/Nevada. We adopted them through the National Organization  for Wild American Horses (NOWAH) .
Their estimated foaling dates are  1984 for "Sulfa" and 1981 for "Yoda".  Sulfa died at age 31 and Yoda at 35 They both  became pasture ornaments and lived all their lives at Rojas Ranch. Yoda was easy to train, and was the first Wild Burro to become the "National Champion" in the Youth Category in 1991 in Indiana. She won 7 out the 9 classes the Rojas children showed her in!
